Finally got to fire my game up. Just finished Chapter 3... Little Payne rusty but I'm loving the game so far. Cinematics are top notch... R* has done it again. Makes me feel like a traitor as I haven't finished any of the other R* Games yet & I have them all..

Looks like I have some serious catching-up to do

This is my GOTY so far after beating it last night. Only other game I can see knocking Payne 3 off GOTY this year would be Halo 4. There were some very hard parts throughout, but overall a great gaming experience. The story was well done and I enjoyed how Rockstar told the story. This has to be one of the most polished games I have played this generation. Kudos to Rockstar for making such a well done game.

Just seeing if anybody else came across this Easter Egg - I tend to explore everything in games (at least the ones that allow me to) and thought this was pretty cool.

Rather than explain it, I'll just post the video instead.

I don't ever think I have died so much in a video game my entire life as much as I have in this one.

Just made it to Chapter 10. Chapter 9 was pretty damn hectic. Also, the look of that entire level was amazing.

After reading every post in this thread I may have to go out and buy this. Or at least get it from gamefly.

This is where I'm at as well. Other than getting MOPPED UP about 20 times per chapter I'm loving this game

Gonna try and beat this in the next few days so I can trade it in at Best Buy for the 100% trade-in bump

I find the best thing to do is overuse bullet time. Before I usually only used it in desperation moments or diving at people, but lately I've started using it in regular gameplay moments like hiding behind cover or running around the area so I can line up my shots a lot easier (I'm using free aim).

Also, don't always constantly push forward. Take some time to explore the area you're in because you'll often find pain killers sitting around in unused rooms, corners, etc.

I still a die a lot regardless, but those things have cut down on the amount of times I'm dying.

I'm currently at Chapter 13 on my second playthrough (Hard/Free Aim) and still loving every bit of it.

I've gotten so much out of this game already - easily over 30 hours in SP alone.

Enjoying the game so far (up to chapter 9), but I feel the story is not as compelling as the first two games. I just don't care what happens to this family. I think it would have worked better with a "Man on Fire" story line.
