I love Star Wars and I love games like Age Of Mythologies. So why not throw both of them together? You could throw down your first rebel base and then instead of collecting wood, food and gold/stone, obviously somone a lot smarter than me would think of a different way to do this.
Then you build your army base and create Rebel fighters, they could perhaps fight by hand and with knifes, clubs before you do a little research and upgrade to blasters. You could also have upgraded units like Bounty Hunters and Wookies and stuff...perhaps some Jawa's?
Replace your basic catapults would be easy with AT AT Walkers and speeders etc, Rebels could use those horse like things that Luke and Han ride on at the beginning of Empire Strikes Back as a sort of cavalry.
You have your Temples and Preists as the end of the line in Age Of Empires and of course in my invented game your ultimate unit would be a Jedi Knight. Get enough wood/gold whatever the developers decide to use and then you can build your Jedi Temple. From their you can slowly train a Jedi padawan learner. You could upgrade him with research by giving him extra force powers etc or a double lightsabre and upgrade him further with research by changing him from a Jedi Knight to a Jedi Master!
I just think it would kick ***...instead of Age Of Mythologies with horses, archers, swordsmen, catapults etc you just replace it all with Star Wars things. I think it would be awesome.
A battlefield with heaps of stormtroopers, bounty hunters, battle driods and you have your Jedi Knight leading the way cutting through them with ease backed up by some AT AT Walkers creating damage from afar with your Rebel friends with their blasters, some wookies...I think it would kick ***.
