I'm pretty sure I read somewhere a couple pages back that if you explore and do all the side stuff it can take you around 40 hours to finish.

I'm hoping this game is good. Looks like everything the first one was supposed to be. Not that the first one was bad though.

40 hours for 60 bucks?... I don't think so....

$60 for 40 hours is great. In comparison a 3 hour movie is approx in theater $10, even Blu-ray is $25. There aren't any 18 hour movies.
How much of that 40hrs is not walking around(GTA4) or watching (MGS4) or doing the exact same thing 3X (AC1) is the question.
IMO Dragon Age had a great balance.

Why wouldn't you want it to be 40 hours? Your lucky if a $60 game gives you 10 hours let alone 40.

Just to let you know it's 40 hours only if you do all the extra side missions, exploring and things like that.

Just looking into this game for the first time. Is there any reason to get the 360 version over the PS3 or vice versa? Exclusive content, earlier DLC or anything like that?

Well, the 360 version comes with a code for a splinter cell conviction demo.

I don't know if I should get this myself or wait until after the holidays because I think someone might be purchasing it for me. I don't want to double pay for it, but then I could give it to my brother-in-law since we might be purchasing him a 360. I hope the freaking fights are hard where the A.I. attacks more than one person at a time. I can't wait to see what the impressions are. The movement looks so much smoother and everything. I'm definitely eager to see how this sucker goes.
