Man, there is SO MUCH to do in this game, it's unreal. I haven't really had problems with the free running either. Now that I have some more experience with it, i'm able to go pretty much anywhere I am trying to go.

Just the addition of the shops and having your own city to maintain is awesome enough. Top it off with a good variety of missions, some sick death animations, and a great story, and this game is a winner so far. Definitely up there on my list of potential GOTY.

This game does take a good 5-6 hours imo to really get going and once it does its very enjoyable. I'm having a lot more fun now than I was at the beginning and I loved the first game. There is just so much to do in this game it is sick. I'm around the 11 hr mark, but not 100% positive. I have tried to do some side missions like the Assassins Tomb only to get stuck. The game is so deep compared to the first at times I feel overwhelmed.

Finally playing through the first game to get caught up to speed. Really liking it so I can't wait to start this one! Still have this unopened..just wondering if they cleaned up the framerate issues from the first on the PS3? Also, is anyone playing with the audio in all italian? Thought that sounded like an awesome immersion factor.

Yeah, you don't have all your skills for 5-6 hours, but it makes sense given the storyline. I've been skipping the races (just don't really enjoy them), but all the other stuff is fun. I've put a lot of hours in and still have maybe 20-30 viewpoints to unlock....I'm sure there's another city or two to unlock, all with more missions.

Assassination side missions are pretty fun, but the nice thing is that you're not forced to do anything. I enjoyed earning the money to improve the villa, buy all the weapons and armor I can, art, etc....

Do I need some type of combat upgade before I do the "kill 10 brutes in under a minute" contract? It seems friggin impossible...

Better armor and weapons will make it easier.

I actually wasn't enjoying this game all that much until I stopped decreasing my notoriety - don't tear down posters etc.

With full notoriety you have to actually stay stealthy and use the factions to hide you. No more defiantly walking down the middle of the street right through a group of guards. Ups the difficulty quite a bit.

Sneak up on one group and poison 5 of them. The clock doesn't start until one dies. Then walk up to the next group and you should be able to stab 3 with the hidden blade depending how the flailing around goes with the poisoned ones. You'll only have to kill 2 in a minute. Remember to empty your hands so you can counter and disarm them and then those 2 will be one hit kills too.

I hired the fighters and used a smoke bomb. It distracts them and I'm able to double hidden blade guys and end up with only a few to finish off once the smoke's gone. I like the poison idea though, that's good too.

Thats what i did minus the Smoke, Killed all 10 in about 25 seconds. Just wait until a brute is engaged with a merc and stab him in the back.

FYI- I LOVE throwing guards off of roofs.

Don't forget to throw them off the bridge (just for fun) and steal the double bladed axe (cause it has the best kill in the game) when you're done with them.

Speaking of throwing dead bodies off of things...

FYI- I LOVE throwing guards off of roofs.

That makes two... or three counting the previous poster.

Better yet, it's either punching them off the roof or killing them, then dropping the body above guards.

I like pushing guards off the roofs of Venice into the water..can't beat that. Or just throwing a dead body off the roof into the streets and waiting for other guards to walk by. And start talking and bam, jump down from the roof and double assassinate two and kill the remaining.

And yea there is a lot you can do to get that achievement...smoke bombs work really well, in 2 smoke bombs I once killed 15ish guards, just walked to each of em and used the hidden blades

I like doing a ledge assassination and then watching them fall to the rooftop below, slide off, and keep falling until they hit the street and send a bunch of civilians running.

The tombs are awesome - I love em. A nice change of pace from the rest of the game. Same for the glyphs.

I enjoyed the tombs, but they really made me realize how finicky the controls can be at times. I love the game, and while playing normally it's easier to deal if he's not doing what you want, but the tombs require pinpoint jumps or you gotta start over again.

Just finished it, awesome game. Sets us up for the 3rd nicely, can't wait!

I do wish the side missions had more of a reward. The money was nice for a while, but once you get a bit into the game you tend to have more than enough cash, so not much incentive to complete them.

Just a great single player experience though, took the first and made it infinitely better. Nicely done, Ubisoft!

I just beat the game on ps3 got 78% I got a lot of trophies : )..... This was a great expierence all the way through the ending was fitting the story was very good I was just impressed with the game overall , it exceded my expections by far and it's one of the top games of 09 easily,

I just have one thing I don't like sometimes the controls can get frustrating but o well not a game killer.
