    Re: Assassin's Creed 2

This game is great.. so great I'm starting it over.

No, not by choice, my 60gb thats 3 1/2 years old got the YLOD.

I was in in sequence 7 if I remember correctly. And I lost all of my saves, so I get to restart.

But it's not gonna be bad, atleast it's fun and I won't be starting something over thats boring.

Have an email from Gamestop stating that it is $39.99 right now. Those interested in still getting this game and playing it tonight, do that thang. Also, can find it for a nice price on Amazon also.

I beat the game the other day, I thought it was pretty fun. There definitely wasn't anything hard in the game, the only time I died was when I fell off stuff. You would think the guards would use their numbers against you instead of waiting to be killed one at a time. Definitely will play part three whenever it is made.

While it would be foolhardy to do, the guards do start attacking you in a combined group effort once you let your guard down (i.e. get hit a couple of times).

It's really easy to stay out of that situation though.

Wouldn't that make it near unplayable though? You wouldn't really be able to do anything if you're getting hit from the front, back and both sides at the same time.

Just finished this yesterday and have to say it's one of the best games I've played in awhile. The repetiveness from the 1st one, which I didn't even finish, is never there. The only thing left for me to do is the remaing 6 truth videos I have yet to find. I'm not going to even attempt collecting all 100 feathers. Now on to Mass Effect 2!

Are there any outfits you get to wear instead of just the alternate capes?

You can go to a tailor in each city to dye them. Just got the perfect harmony acheivement for dying my outfit in ebony and ivory a couple days ago. There are different dyes in each city as well.

Oh yeah. I've seen some of the dyes but they aren't that great. I've only checked Florence and Tuscany though. Where are the best ones located?

good to hear it's an option...It wouldnt feel right walking around Italy with everyone speaking English with Italian accents...that is something that would ruin the entire game for me. I like to be immersed in the environment

The Altair armor is by far the best one.

On another note, I downloaded sequence 12 and am extremely pissed. Basically one hour of gameplay, that could've/should've been included with the original game.

Ubisoft is setting a horrible precedent releasing this kind of garbage and labelling it as "extra content."

Yeah, they're really nothing special looking. But to get the perfect harmony achievement, you have to get the wetland ivory and wetland ebony dyes. Those can only be found in Fiorli/Romanga (spelling?) area. Good for a quick 10 points.
