I'm borrowing this off a friend next week, really been hanging out to play it after all of the impressions here. I never played the first one but most people seem to say that doesn't really matter and AC2 is apparently so much better than 1 so i'll roll with that.

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
Loving this game. Just getting into it. I know I'm real late. Part one really hooked me, and the design in this game is helping me with a project that I'm working on. Upgrading my home base has definitely kept the game pretty easy so far. Right now I'm in Venice, though I don't know how deep into the game that is. I love all of the additions to the combat. The dodge saves me when my counter timing is rotten.
All of this conspiracy stuff really floats my boat, man. I could decipher hidden messages in classic paintings all day.
i havent played Uncharted 2 yet but so far i think it is my GOY for 09"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
yea but will they take psn cards

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
At the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards, Assassin's Creed II was named Best Action Adventure Game, and IGN named it as the Action Game of the Year for Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Game of the Year. GameSpot also named it as Xbox 360 Game of the Year. It also received Game of the Year from GamePro, Eurogamer and The New York Times.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
Got this game for about $22 on Gamestop's 25% off $100 deal (Assassin's Creed 2, inFAMOUS, Little Big Planet: GOTY Edition, and Red Dead Redemption for $112 total). I am loving it. I loved the first one and this one improved in about every way. No more required interrogations, pickpockets and eavesdrop side quests that made the first one so boring.. I just finished the DNA sequence where you wear the golden mask to kill the guy, so I think I'm getting pretty close to the end.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
Yes, you are getting fairly close to the end. Make sure you download the extra content and play those. Great game. I can't wait for the next one.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Confirmed
- Ubisoft has confirmed to IGN the title of the next Assassin's Creed game.
A purported GameStop reservation placeholder card for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has been leaked early by an employee. Ubisoft said the image below is authentic and that they'll have more information next week.
The game will be released this fall for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The details listed on the back of the card align with what Ubisoft has already confirmed, such as the inclusion of Ezio and the location, Rome.
"Live and breathe as Ezio, now a legendary master assassin, in his struggle against the Templar order. Lead your own brotherhood of Assassins and strike at the heart of the enemy. Rome," the card says, according to Kotaku.
"And for the first time, take part in an innovative multiplayer layer allowing you to embody an assassin of your choosing and define their killing style. A never-before-seen online multiplayer experience. Lead your own brotherhood of assassins, as Ezio, and conquer Rome."
Pre-ordering the game at GameStop will give you an exclusive multiplayer character. No details on who that might be. It's expected Ubisoft will announce its fiscal quarterly results later this month.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
I don't really understand how the concept of this game is that much different than AC2.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
I just hope they improve the A.I. difficulty when fighting because that is the only downfall I have with this game. Maybe they'll improve that. I'm definitely wondering what they could add multiplayer-wise that would make this a desirable purchase. We'll see what it looks like when they release more information.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed 2
I'm pretty sure they said that it's just a spinoff and not a true sequel.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
