Wow guys, that was the best game I have played. Soooooo intense at the end. WHo would have thought, the one time I'm on the other team, they win? I gotta go for tonight, but we should play again soon.

Man, that was an intense game that one time. I swear, every time we had a clear opening with the princess the lava seemed to be up (and every time we didn't, it was down haha).

We missed you on our team for that game though. I was doing some Family Guy impressions and this guy played that Billy Mays spoof. It was hilarious!

I would have done more but my family outside my door heard me and started making fun of me with the game overall, going like, "Ooo, help, I need a priest!" in like a high voice and stuff, it was kind of funny. I was just like, "You just don't get the magic unless you play this game."

The Billy Mays thing had me rolling, too. Certainly great entertainment while our princess disappeared.

Actually, that's the first time I've seen her come back after disappearing like that.

My favorite part was the en masse rush we did on the blue team on that mountain map. I haven't seen anything like that on this game until now - reminded me of a Starcraft Zerg rush.

Great times guys, will definitely do it again sometime. Love this game.

Oh, BTW blzer, I was laughing out loud when you were taunting that kid during the break between games.

Also, I tried rejoining that last game like 6 times, everytime I was raed, so I just stuck with it. I was AMAZED at how many people had a mic. It was great.

Now I'm convinced my lag problems in this game are almost completely due to bad hosts and nothing else. It's easy to forget this is a peer-to-peer game, and not run from a central server.

I've played a few games tonight with a very small number of people (no more than 6), and others with all 32. In all of the low numbered games I saw almost no lag - everything ran smoothly. However, on the more busy games things went downhill fast - the familiar snails (red and yellow) in the lower left corner. I also had one game that started small with a great connection, but eventually filled up - out came the snails again.

This is telling me that since I didn't lag in the small-numbered games, that the problem lies with the hosts trying to bite off more than they can chew. I think the thing that's supposed to tell people how many players they can host is a little broken, because it's clear that some people simply don't have the bandwidth to host a full room.

Aside from the snails, there's one other way to tell if a server is lagging - look for flashing player icons on the name list (press start to pull it up). It means the host is having connection issues with that player, and if there's a bunch of them, the host's bandwidth is probably getting overwhelmed.

I'm sorry I missed playing with you guys last night. This game is so much better when you are playing with people with mics.
