Action Replay problem - Help

I'm trying to get rosters to load for NCAA CB 2k3 and NFL 2k3 on Xbox. I get the saves from the website, get them on the mem card. Then I transfer them to the Xbox harddrive, but when I try and load them in game it says 'unable to load file'. I'm just completely confused, and don't know what else to try

i've just been putting the saves on an empty AR memory card. Do I have to create a NFL 2k3 save in game first, and then add the roster to that save for it to work?

I have not personally tried saves for either of those games, but I don't think so. While this was a Sharkport requirement, it doesn't seem to be the case for the ARX.

How are you loading the rosters in-game? If I remember right, there's a separate "Load Roster" in the roster sub-menu?

I have not personally tried saves for either of those games, but I don't think so. While this was a Sharkport requirement, it doesn't seem to be the case for the ARX.

I'd go to the Load option in the game, and from there choose "Load Roster"...

Which NFL Roster did you download?

I can go get it from Codejunkies, and try to load it myself. At least then we can see if it's an issue with the file itself.

I don't remember which date I downloaded, and I'm at work right now...plus codejunkies is having trouble, which is no surprise. Anyways, it happened with both NCAA CB 2k3 and NFL 2k3, so I'm thinking it's not a save problem, more just something I'm not doing right

I got through on codejunkies.com and it's the NFL2k3 04082003 roster...the ones above just give me a link error. If you could try that, then I'll know for sure it's me and not the saves

I don't know what's up. I tried that save. I used the AR Software to get the save, and put it on the memory Card, then moved it to my HD. I then used Load, and it worked just fine.
