Re: UFC vs FN Rd4 - which one will you be getting?
I'm huge fan of both sports, but at this point FN4 is questionable. I didn't go to vancouver and play it, so until I play the demo, it's a question mark. I need to be sold on fn4, and maybe I will be, but right at this moment all I care about is UFC.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

UFC only. I found the last FN way too easy and it became boring rather quickly, I may rent it from Gamefly at some point but UFC is a day one purchase no matter what comes out about it.Comment

I am going with both. I really want the UFC game because it looks really good. The DuCross Brothers: Sports Internet Talk Show

Re: UFC vs FN Rd4 - which one will you be getting?
FNRd4 for sure.
I think it's mostly because I'm way more of a boxing fan than MMA.
I admire the athletes in the UFC and can appreciate the myriad of skills on display but the sport doesn't appeal to me as much.
I find the blockbusters in boxing are more entertaining than the marquee matchups in UFC.
But I realize my opinion is probably in the minority.Comment

Re: UFC vs FN Rd4 - which one will you be getting?
Last month was FN4 only. Last week was both. This week looks like UFC only and no FN4 until I see alot of reviews and user impressions after a month or so before I commit to that game. The more I play the UFC demo and the more I see gameplay videoes of FN4 the more convinced I am that UFC is next gen and makes FN4 look last gen. I was initally impressed with FN4 when the 1st videos came out but now playing UFC and it's incredible graphics and movements make FN4 and it's god awful boxer models (arms way too long and look prosthetic, terrible mid-riffs) look like a PS2 game.Comment

Both, though i'm almost certain UFC will get more burn thn FN4. I mean 80+ man roster not to mention the guys they will add via DLC. Soo many matchups to play.Comment

I'm curious if you like the ufc demo simply because others that aren't into the ufc still find it a fun game.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Re: UFC vs FN Rd4 - which one will you be getting?
I might download it tonight to see how it plays.
The real issue I have is that I have limited funds and a handful of games I have to buy in the coming months;
Fight Night Round 4, Red Dead Redemption, an NHL game and probably Dead Rising 2.
I don't know if I'd have enough time or cash to buy 2 'combat' games - that's why I'll probably stick with FN over UFC. I just prefer one sport over the other.
And as stupid as this may sound, I'm scared I might actually like UFC enough to need to buy that one too. My wallet and wife might murder me.Comment

To be honest, I haven't played it yet. I've heard nothing but great things about it though.

haha, yeah don't play the demo in that case
I'm slightly in the same boat although I think beyond fn4, ufc, OFP2, arma2 - there isn't to my knowledge anything that I must buy immediately until closer to christmas time. And during the summer I'm undecided whether i'm getting both those military games.
If Fn4's demo feels good and impresses, I'll get it. I wouldn't mind having both, but the priority for me goes to UFC and it has nothing to do w/ which sport I like better in real life.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

1st day purchase for both. I both FN3 the other day just to get back in the game. And I can't stop playing UFC. It's really cutting my Show 09 gametime in half.Moderator

It's a freaking demo with only 2 fighters, and I've played it as much as I've ever played a regular game since I got it. Hell, I've barely even touched Rock Band 2 since I got it, and RB2 is pretty much all I play these days.Comment

Re: UFC vs FN Rd4 - which one will you be getting?
I'll be getting UFC for sure. The demo is WAY better than I thought it was going to be and I play it literally every time I turn on the PS3. I can't wait to have access to 80 fighters and online play.
As for Fight Night, we'll see. There are so many games coming out in June that I want and I've only got so much money. Though now that Batman has been delayed and the Indiana Jones next-gen games are cancelled, that might free things up.Comment
