    CD-R on XBOX

I think it's lame that the XBOX doesn't play these types of discs. Or am I recording with too high of a write speed?

Well its not that lame considering the xbox isn't a CD player. It just has CD playing capabilities.

Yeah, and to be perfectly honest, if you have any sort of quality tv, you're not going to want to use the XBOX/PS2 for a DVD player. Get one with progressive scan output and all those other goodies that only a real DVD player can offer. I mean its good in a crunch or whatever, but I always play DVD's/CD's on my Panasonic 82s progressive scan DVD (PLUG! Awsome DVD player).

How much is that one. I was thinking of a Panasonic DVD player to go with the new 51'' Panny.

The Samsung drive supposedly reads CD-Rs. This is the Xbox with the two smaller holes on each side of the disc tray.
