You know you're getting older when the small things start to irritate you and the infamous "Should I get an XBOX?" thread is the latest thing that irritates me. Just like this one, it starts out, everybody does everything other than buying it for the guy to sell an xbox to him, and at the end, "well, I'm not going to get one, maybe next year."

Yeah, either that or we'll give him the assurance that he needs to go out and purchase it. Alot of people can't buy things without hearing alot of feedback about a product.

What's there not to know about the Xbox, I thoroughly researched the thing before I bought it. I started one of these threads, I didn't get it right then, but I got it maybe a week or two later.

Don't buy an Xbox. If you need people to convince you , you don't need one.

Yeah, the only thing I can think of is the financial aspect of it.

Games on multiple platforms don't matter to me as I don't really care about the difference in graphics. So, basically is there any other games I am missing on Xbox?

I was in the same boat as you, I did the research, listened to everyone in the forums. The things that helped me make my decision were, what game do I really want to play? what system is it better on? XBOX u get a hard drive, PS2 u need to buy memory carts and what future games do I want to play, which system will those be for?
If you buy an XBOX and are not 100% sure Best Buy has a deal where u can trade in your XBOX for PS3 (if you buy the warranty) so you cant lose.

Does Best Buy keep this kind of information in their computers? I lost my receipt and warranty when we moved.
