    Lego: 'Enter Movie Title'

I downloaded the Lego: Batman demo on my PS3 a couple of weeks ago and it was pretty fun. So, now I want to buy one of the Lego games and play it all the way through.

So, for those of you who have played the Lego titles, which one should I get first? Is there one I should stay away from?

I liked Batman better than Star Wars and only played the Indy demo. None of them were horrible but none were spectacular either.

I'm still trying to figure out the Lego: Batman demo with my son. Is there more to it than just breaking some blocks and beating to rounds of enemies? Also, I have no idea on what to do in the "Be The Villian" option.

      I need a tutuorial! LOL

I love the Lego games as a fun little diversion when time is short.

I even slipped a "FAKE" Lego title in a list on one of these forums and nobody even batted an eye...

        my dream Lego game....

Lego: The A-Team would so rule.

I've played all the Lego games and in my opinion Star Wars is the best one, then Batman, then Indy. Star Wars just has so many characters to choose from and the story is just so familar it is fun to play through. Indy was definitely fun too, but way way way too short. If you can find Indy for around $15-$20 it would be worth it.

My dream Lego game would be Lord of the Rings. It would be just like Star Wars in the way that there would be so many characters to choose from with different fighting styles.

                    Re: Lego: 'Enter Movie Title'

I'm partial to Lego Indy as I think it's the best. It's the first one we played (my son mainly) and I just like Indy better than any character in any other Lego game. The movie tie-in stuff is what I really liked as well as the stories felt familiar and fun. This game does a better job of hiding treasures and making exploration more fun than any other Lego game. While there aren't as many boards/levels in this game, I think they are designed better than the other games. Plus, the Freeplay aspect in Indy was better than everyone else. You really needed the other characters to find treasure and puzzle solve. You looked forward to going back in the Indy game moreso than the other ones. The entire puzzle solving and hunting nature of the Lego games just seemed more suited to Indy imo.

Batman is fun and the villains part of it is really good as there are a ton of characters to break up the monotany. Batman and Robin get a ton of different costumes but that didn't mean they were all that fun to use either. There is no movie tie-in or story that's interesting and while each level can be fun, I thought the Indy boards were better. I'd have to say I ended up bored with the vehicle levels. They were just OK.

We got Star Wars last after having done the first two. It's pretty good and there are a lot of characters. You find yourself getting coins much more than the other ones since you need them to buy characters. We've got them all other than the $1,000,000 ghosts. Some boards were overly tough and not great for kids. This was fun although I still liked Indy better.
