thx for the heads up - downloading now. Though at the rate it's going, it won't finish until tomorrow. PS3 downloads are ridiculously slow

Thursday nights are always slow for ps3 downloads. Everyone downloads the new stuff and the servers get jammed. And I though rag doll had multiplayer?

Offline mulitplayer... the way multiplayer should be defined to avoid confusion (online multiplayer should be called online play). It's been this way for years, I don't know when it changed. Now I get disappointed when I find games like Pure are "multiplayer" only to find out it has no head-to-head offline racing.

It's freakin 2009 how is the playstation network so ridiculously slow. I've been downloading it for an hour and it's 30 percent done. Just suffered a devastating bruins loss and was hoping to beat some stuff up for a bit but no. Guess it's back to the UFC demo.

It's freakin 2009 how is the playstation network so ridiculously slow. I've been downloading it for an hour and it's 30 percent done. Just suffered a devastating bruins loss and was hoping to beat some stuff up for a bit but no. Guess it's back to the UFC demo.

I'd imagine the game's getting hit pretty hard since it's free. I rarely have speed issues downloading from PSN, but I'm not usually on during peak times either.

Yeah, but I dunno...the PSN seems slower than Live is for me, and you gotta think some of the big downloads get hit hard...

That being said, this DL wasn't too bad for me, luckily. Kinda fun game, not sure I'll really play it all that much though. More fun than the crappy Undertow that we got free for the Live issues a while back. I know Undertow got good reviews, but it just wasn't that fun to most...

This game must have been selling poorly, but with fun multiplayer maybe they'd hope it would take off?

Honestly, even at $10 this game's value dominates SSB. Either that's overrated or this is underrated. Either way, there is no reason to ever pass up on a free game. Consider yourselves lucky this offer came.

it took me 10 minutes to download the game.. in fact nothing really takes long to download for me on psn. except when i download big games like Head Coach.

Yep I was having the same problems and searched and found this solution. It was pretty frustrating since I thought I'd have to reset my network settings on my PS3 since I was moving from my apartment connection to my home connection, but that wasn't the case. Luckily I found this solution.
