Re: Zen Pinball (PSN)
I got 38mil on one ball. I was proud of myself. I have no idea how he got 220+. Insane. I still have things to figure out, though. I'm pretty good on the reverse flippers, but I can never finish the stage and get the Mysterio jackpot. Everything else is fairly easy to get going.

Ha. Is he playing on PS4?

In general, getting the wizard mode on a table is the key to getting the ridiculously high scores, and those usually involve either completing or at least playing all the missions. For Sorceror's it's easier than Spiderman because you only have to play each mode, not necessarily beat it. However there are more of them that you have to play, so it kinda balances out.
I have PS3/Vita/PS4, but the big scores on Sorcerors and Spidey came on the PS4.Comment

How do you beat Mysterio? I can do the other 3, but I can't get past Mysterio's reverse flipper stage.

Re: Zen Pinball (PSN)
In his mode you have to hit 3 targets while the flippers are reversed - Goblin's ramp on the lower playfield, and the Doc Ock Hole and Mysterio's ramp on the upper playfield, before time runs out. It's definitely not easy, but keep in mind you don't have to worry about the ball draining during the mode - the ball saver is active for the entire time. The hardest shot for me in that mode is the left flipper shot to the upper playfield because you have to hit it on the fly after an orbit shot. Not easy with the flippers reversed.Comment

Re: Zen Pinball (PSN)
First of all, even getting his mode started is kind of a pain. You have to hit an out-of-the-way captive ball on the upper playfield, and then fire at whatever target Mysterio hovers over. If you can do that 3 times the reverse flipper thing starts.

I can activate Mysterio on a regular basis. I always thought it was just one ramp to hit to 'collect' Mysterio - probably why I never cleared his stage. Getting the three balls on the reverse shouldn't be too hard then as I hit those ramps pretty regularly in the flow.

Re: Zen Pinball (PSN)
Well I may have lost Spidey, but I picked up a few other top scores last night. I'm #1 on Avengers, Wolverine, World War Hulk, and Ironman.
Ironman came very close to being one of those crazy scores because I was within a couple of Stark missions (like the Tower and Science Awards) from reaching the final battle when my last ball drained. I had all the Ironman missions done and it's the first time I ever pulled that off. Even so, the score is 19th overall because it's so hard to score big points on that table.
None of those 4 tables included a wizard mode, so they're all reachable fairly easily (unlike the Spidey or Sorceror tables). Get on it.Comment

Re: Zen Pinball (PSN)
Baseball and pinball are a match made in heaven. There are so many similarities between the two. Swing early pull the ball. Swing later go the opposite way. Push the flipper early pull the pinball. Push it late the pinball goes the opposite. Luckily the pinball isn't moving at 95 mph.
