I feel exactly the same way. This game just gets better and better as it goes along. Every stage and enemy brings something new, and along with uncharted 2, this is the best looking game I've seen on consoles so far. Just astounding. This has surpassed my expectations by quote a bit. Just love it.

Something or other about an unhandled error message and then your save disappears. Seems pretty random though 3 people had it happen on the final boss.

Got the game yesterday (limited edition PS3). I'm am completely hooked. Within the first 5 minutes I was completely sold on the story, gameplay, and feel of the entire game. It's just absolutely brilliant. Everything about this game is so well done, and the attention detail is amazing. Finally got around to gaming again and wow, the ending to this game gets a massive BOO from me. Should've just called the game Lords of Shadow. Shades of "Live Free Die Hard" here, the main character did not need to be named Belmont for this story. Instead it was used to sucker in franchise fans like myself. It's a good game, sure, but as a fan of the franchise I don't like that this what we get for a reboot story wise.Comment

I finally picked this one up yesterday since it was on sale and very good game so far. The puzzles aren't bad and the first titan man is cool, still working on trying to beat him.
Just sucks that it released during a time period when there was just too much out. Between this and Mass Effect 2, I should be good till Killzone 3 releases since both are long games.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Will Get Two DLC Packs In Early 2011
Gamers who played Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be pleased to learn that the game will be getting new downloadable content. Castlevania: LoS left us with quite a few unanswered questions and DLC will give us the opportunity to have those questions answered. Konami wants to make sure their vampire hunting hero has a few more adventures so they will be releasing two DLC packs early next year.
The first DLC pack is called Reverie. In this add-on Gabriel will be once again returning to the Castle to help Laura, a former servant for the vampire Queen Carmilla. Reverie will focus on containing the evil that Carmilla has left behind. Look for it on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live in February.
Just two months after the first DLC pack Konami will be releasing the second pack. Resurrection, the follow-up DLC, will be released in April. This content will pick up where the main game's story left off so we can count on getting some answers. If I know Konami as well as I think I do, then we can count on getting some more questions too. It's a good game, but there are instances where I get a love/hate feeling for it in general. The combat is cool, but at times feels a bit too sparse for my taste. I do not get the God of War resemblance here at all. GOW had a lot more combat and the Vania games going back to Vania64 had this kind of combat. So really, it was the GOW series that copied what was going on with the Vania's to a degree. The titan battles I can say were copied from GOW since you do battle titans, but the only thing copied from Shadow of the Colossus is the pattern used to battle a titan. Other than that, you are not wandering around to find the titans since this game is very linear. The titan battles so far have been fun and different in the way that you battle them. Yes there is a pattern to fighting them, but you will have fun with them.
The monsters have been a little bit repetitive that I have encountered so far. It has mainly been werewolves, skeletons, giant bats, and trolls. From what I have read, it changes up a bit later on. There are a ton of skills and magic powers to unlock which is cool. It helps add to the variety of combat. At first I felt a little overwhelmed, but now I'm glad to have all these combat options as it helps spice things up a bit.
The environments are breathtaking and beautiful. They feel like they have that artistic look throughout and it shows. You go from forests, caverns, temples that I have seen so far. The platforming is not bad at all, but could have been a bit better. There are times you have no clue where you are going. Then add the mixture of puzzles, which have not been too hard so far. You can use experience points to beat a puzzle if your getting frustrated. I'm on the third chapter, so there is about 9 more levels to go as this game is about 15-20 hours long.
I find the cutscenes to be well done, but the way they are incorporated could have been a bit better. The story so far is engaging and I hear just gets better in the 5-6 hour mark.
I will admit that I am struggling to get through this game as many others have too. I really want to finish this as the ending supposedly is one of the best in videogames history from pro and user reviewers. I know that I can Youtube the cutscenes + ending, but really want to see it for myself. There is also 2 separate DLC coming this year that adds to the main story, so I'll just keep trudging through this even if it takes me a bit longer than normal as I'm picking it up and playing in-between other games.Comment

The game gets much better in the later chapters. I loved the game personally. The only thing that I didn't really like about the game was the fixed camera.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football
