Well, I've put this puppy up on Half.com. I've officially had it. My main complaint? Too many scripted responses. I'm getting bloody tired of sneaking up to snipe from a distance, but accidentally crossing some invisible line that sends everybody running at me ... and they all (somehow) know exactly where I am.

That sort of scripted, triggered response used to be OK, but it just isn't anymore. At least not for me. It happened again last night, where I was creeping forward, but crossed a line in between two statues that triggered everyone to rush at me ... I got ticked off, and went to switch characters, and the game froze on me.

So I don't think I'm going in again ....

No problem. There may have been 50 missions actually, at least if you count chapters of missions as a mission of their own. There was a lot of them, but I thought that the missions would take a lot longer to complete than they did. Some of them were done in 5 minutes or less.

Wow and i thought i was critical. BF is a very solid game. I would recommend it to anyone that likes action shooters. Sure it's no Halo, but what is. IMO its the 3rd best non-sports game on da box. (next to Halo and Splinter Cell)

Well BF is not back at Gamestop. I used that $54.11 to pay for NCAA 2004.

I agree. Its not nearly as bad as these guys are making it sound. I got exactly what I expected, a fun shooter with Triple A graphics.....

I agree. Its not nearly as bad as these guys are making it sound. I got exactly what I expected, a fun shooter with Triple A graphics.....

When they delayed it practically an entire year I just expected something on par or close to HALO. Other than that I was just surprised that it was so short.

However, those two games have set a new standard. I'm "broken" when it comes to action games, thanks to those two.

RtCW has many of the same flaws of pre-programmed, "triggered" AI - but LIVE covers a lot of flaws. Although I don't know how far I'll get in RtCW single-player, that game won't go back due to it's LIVE playability.
