hey guys i had no idea gears had a forum on here lol but none of my friends play these games at all, and i need some people to play with in gears three, my K/D in gears one was 3.0 and K/D in gears 2 was 2.2. that is no lie and i tend to snipe alot though i had 7000 headshots in the first gears and over 10000 headshots in the 2nd. anyone intrested?? i hate playing with random parties that dont talk

Picked up the game this afternoon in LA from a store down the street from me that sells everything when they get it in. I'm loving it so far, played a little more than an hour of the campaign, and I think I'm just about at the end of the first act. Played a little bit of Horde mode as well before taking a break to watch MNF.

The gameplay is just so great and works so well I can't wait for this game to end so I can keep playing. The campaign is good so far and I think the story is pretty interesting so far. Horde mode is also a lot of fun and I think a big improvement over Gears 2. The tower defense aspect is really fun and I'm really excited to put a few hours in with my friends once they get the game. I also love how you level up and earn exp. points across all game modes and not just multiplayer.

For people who were talking about all the skins and stuff it is pretty ridiculous, Giant Bomb put up a video today showing what you get with the season pass and what is extra and separate. I think it's pretty ridiculous to have that much paid content. I don't really care about skins and won't play a ton of the non co-op multiplayer but it'd be nice to have a lot more of it be unlockable. Seems like about 20% of the skins you can unlock and the rest you can only buy which I'm not a fan of at all.

Well I got a text from Gamestop and it turns out I have this game reserved, lol. The killer is I called them about it and it turns out I payed it off already as well from a while ago.

Looks like I be picking it up when Gamestop opens tomorrow.

Thanks guys for the replies: I defiintely will only be getting the Season Pass. The skins add no additional value to the game so no point in buying those.

Can't wait to finish up my finals this week so I can swing by and get my game.
