Just a few days of play and I'm all ready at 13 hours. I decided to fire it up for a few minutes, yesterday, and it turned into two hours.. smh.

I just got to Lavendar Town and I'm moving on to get the necessary stuff to tackle the Pokemon Tower. I went ahead and rushed in and beat Gary's *** again, real quick. He hasn't had anything for me, any of the three or four times we've battled.

I've all ready got my Wartortle to evolve to Blastoise and my Persian, Wigglytuff, and Butterfree are all at lvl 30.

I benched Beedrill and I picked up Machop and I'm thinking about making him a fixture, at least for a little while.

Ahh, I feel like a little kid again, playing this game. Screw the haters.. these games are still awesome.

I had decided yesterday that I was going to bust out my Gameboy SP and Pokemon Emerald on the way out to a fishing trip because I wasn't sure how long it would take to get there. Stupid Emerald doesn't work anymore

So upsetting, and they are so ****ing expensive on amazon.
The only pokemon game I have atm is yellow, my old "friend" stole my crystal, emerald, and fire red.

I got this one about 4-years ago and it still has the price tag on it. $29.99.

Gamestop's price online right now, used.. $39.99.

Ridiculous for a Gameboy Advance game.

I still have Gold, but I'm thinking about just trying out Black on an Emulator until I get a new job and some money saved up.

I think I know the most about Gold.

I've had Blue, Yellow, and Gold... played Gold the most.

I think I paid just as much for Fire Red as I did my Advance SP.. I bought the SP from my cousin's collectibles shop (It's nostalgia heaven with all the old NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. stuff he carries) and he sold it to me for $20.

If you guys have a smartphone, just download the Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advanced app from the app store and download the emulator and play it on the phone. That's what I did with Pokemon Crystal couple months back.

My phone battery all ready sucks + I have horrible luck with phones. I've all ready cracked the screen on my fairly new HTC...

I grabbed FireRed for 12 bucks from a local resale.

They have the original Gold/Silver and Red/Blue/Yellows there for less than 10 bucks, too.

Guess I'm lucky I have somewhere near me that sells them for so cheap.

Anywho, Pokethical question:

I grabbed that Darkrai or whatever his name is from the online giveaway for Black and he's level 50. Everything I have, and everything that faces me is around 35. So, do I just store him until I start seeing things around level 50? Or do I just use him as a last resort to bail me out of battles I'm losing? Because right now he's clobbering everyone.

My sister has a DS, I'm not sure on my plans as to whether just buy a few of the newer games and play until I leave for the fall or what. She has one of the newest ones I think like Black or something, but Pokemon and their stupid 1 saves lol.

Looking at DS's now, don't want to spend the $$ but it's sooo tempting

Like AUChase, my phone battery is terrible right now.

I'll unplug in from the charger at 10am and it'll be dead by 2pm. Plus, I don't have a keyboard because I'd never use it so for me, an all touch screen game is a little rough.

I just bought a DS Lite and HeartGold as well, i'll buy more as I play through them.

Need to find LeafGreen or something tho as I much prefer the original

I'd store him because I find training your own group of Pokemon a lot more entertaining.

Looks like more people are buying DS, I'll be buying mine soon. Just need to do some more research on which DS to buy
