Can't you still do the "dance like a fool" or "tell a joke" sims-style stuff to get the shopkeeper to like you??

Yeah, but there are tiers now. I danced like a fool, maxed out phase one, then he sent me on a delivery, and then I had to dance like a fool again to max out the next phase.

jmood88 - why did you try to beat it so quick? Heh, I always wonder what the hurry is. It's like someone gets a delicious steak and gobbles it down without even chewing and enjoying..

I never rush through games, it was just the only thing I've done since Tuesday.

I finished a lot of the side quests but I still have some more to do.

So how do you import your fable 2 character into this game!? Beforei began Fable 3 I made sure my fable 2 save file was on my memory card. So far i am in the caves fighting bats and haven idea if iveimportedthe character or not...

The only thing tied to my Fable II character I've come across so far has been people mentioning how "your mother" (I used a female character in Fable II) this and that. The game at least knew that. Haven't seen/heard anything else though.

Slimkibbles, I dont think that's a spoiler, it references your mother this and that for me too and I only played as a male character.

What is the Kings name in your game? Mine is Logan and I'm thinking had a son named Logan but. I cant recall...

I erred on the side of caution. Wasn't sure. Well now I'm not sure about the connection between Fable II and Fable III characters if they are saying that in your game too.

The king is Logan in mine as well.

I just don't want to get real far into the game and have to start over to import the character. I have my fable 2 save on my memory card and I'm wondering if it shouldn't have been on my hard drive instead....

Well if it's any consolation, my Fable II character is on my hard drive and I haven't seen anything yet. I've only played a few hours though. jmood needs to chime in on this since he finished the game already!

I have all my fable 2 stuff on and nothing showed up for Fable 3 toon stuff, also had zero issues with the game quest, kinda fun and love the ref.

Do NOT Play Fable III quest entitled "The Game"

• If you play this quest, you are shrunken and unable to fast travel...problem 1...
• If you do one thing out of timing...the quest glitches...problem 2
• If you cannot finish the quest...you cannot leave the game board...problem 3
• YOU CANNOT CONTINUE PLAYING IF THIS QUEST GLITCHES!!!
• You have to start over and lose everything...this is about 6 hours into gameplay!

Also I got glitched up as well, had to start over but luckily it was towards the beginning.

What if it's on the memory card? How do you even know if it's loaded?

So far it only seems to effect the gender of your parent. I had a female hero so they always say the Queen.

Yeah but I'm not even sure it does that, it may just say that by default. I've heard a lot of references to The Queen as well. Or maybe that is the default and only those that import successfully where it's a male is what changes it and since mine didn't import then it goes with the mother/queen thing.

All I know is this is exasperating to me as to what the deal with it is. I wish Molyneaux would make a statement on it.
