Def Jam Vendetta

Anyone here got this game? I'm thinking about trading in my NHL2K3 and NBA2K3 and chipping in cash to pick this up. I rarely play NBA anymore, and same with NHL because my time is strictly going to Splinter Cell and World Series right now. But this looks like a cool *** two-player game. I hear it runs off the same engine as Wrestlemania and No Mercy. This true? And is it worth picking up?

It is well worth picking up. I love the game. It does ruin off the same engine as the old N64 wrestling games. Does not a have CAW though. The action is fun and since it is not a licensed wrestling games some of the moves are amazing. The finishers are just awesome.

I was skeptical at first because I am not a hip-hop fan at all. but after playing it I think it is one of the best Wrestling games of all time.

That was my only thing... the moves I saw on the commercial looked awesome, the pics on the back of the case looked great, but the fact I would be using rappers just kinda struck me funny... hehe

there are about a dozen rappers and a bunch of fictional characters. In fact in the career mode you can only use fictional characters. sounds crappy but it works with the story.

The game is great and I highly recommend it

i like it very much, but in gods name don't trade in two games for it, you can beat it in an evening

I got it used for $50 Canadian and it was well worth the money. Try to find it for a cheap price.
