A website claims to have knowledge of a future PS3 exclusive, which may release in 2010.
PSXtreme has recently teased readers with their knowledge of an upcoming PS3 exclusive, which will supposedly be in the same "elite group" as Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, God of War III, MAG, Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, and The Last Guardian, some of the most popular upcoming PS3 games.
The article says that while it is a massive step up from the previous game in the series, it is familiar. This implies that it is a remake or sequel. It is apparently a game that "the vast majority of gamers will likely enjoy", which suggests that it is from a popular franchise that hasn't seen an iteration this generation.
Ben Dutka, the author of the article, claims that the source is none other than the lead designer of the game, and also let slip that the lead designer is male. The author concludes by saying the following:
"Oh, and if any of you are wondering if there's a chance the game will go multiplatform: no."
This means that it is probably a first party game.
Could this be Syphon Filter, Twisted Metal, or even the ever-elusive Final Fantasy VII remake? PSXtreme say they might be able to spill the beans in January or February next year, and that the game could be released as early as holiday 2010.

for me i really hope its syphon filter,twisted metal or damn imagine a timesplitters 4? i am guessing tho its probably some final fantasy thing which will help them move units.
