    Sharkport Question

Anyone that has Sharkport here, how do you get the PS2 disc to work? I really want to be able to get saves for NCAA Football 2004.

    Re: Sharkport Question

It's just not booting up at all?

    Ummmm ....

The earlier Sharkport PS2 discs do not work with some of the newer PS2 models. I had this problem back when NCAA 2002 came out - I guess the old discs are still floating out there.

The solution is to call InterAct tech support, and get the newer version of the PS2 disc.

However, InterAct recently went out of business. You can try calling them, but you may simply be out of luck.

Also...I had the same problem because I have a launch PS2 and it no longer reads CD-ROMs so the disc won't work. I'm getting a new PS2 before NCAA comes out for the same reason.

No need to buy a completely new one. Just call Sony and they will clean it for you and will waive the fee. If it still doesn't work after that, they'll give you a whole new PS2. And if they won't waive the fee, in the top right of your letter, write "Waived Fee" and then they won't make you pay.

I have a newer version of the PS2 and my Sharkport use to work and now the disc has a long line on out and it doesn't work. I am gonna go to the store to find another one.
