Re: action replay for the ps2

Certain versions of the Sharkport PS2 CD will not work with newer revisions of the PS2 hardware. When I originally bought my Sharkport, this was the case for me.

I called InterAct, and after a few tries finally got a newer version of the PS2 disc that worked just fine. However, it was still a blue-bottomed CD ... so if your PS2 isn't reading any games on CD, this may not be the problem you're having.

Anyone know a website where I can find info on the X-Port because I have a Sharkport and the PS2 disk doesn't work anymore.

The X-Port is just like the Sharkport - one long(ish) USB Cable. So your PC and PS2 will need to be in the same room when transferring files.

Well not an upgrade then, thanks for the reply, I guess my Sharkport will have to do. I think I am getting NCAA 2004 on the Xbox anyway, I don't really have a strong desire to go online with NCAA (although I would try it on Live! if EA were not such stick in the muds), and I like the AR and Hard Drive of the Xbox. Just going to wait to see how long it takes for rosters, God knows I don't have time to do them myself. I know the PS2 community will have rosters done in the same week the game comes out. There are Xbox rosters for 2003, but I have no idea how long it will take before someone makes them available for 2004.
