I need to re buy this game, mannn we use to just run through teams in this game. Out of all the FPS I play this is definitely the one I'm best at.

Don't worry Blzer, I'm not that good at this game MP wise either but would love to get some gaming going. I used to be real good with KZ2 MP, but suck on KZ3 for some reason.

Best buy has the Helghast Edition for $25, just placed an order. The Helghast helmet is worth it alone.

I thought about getting the helghast edition at bestbuy for $25, but decided not too.


Then I saw that gamefly was selling the regular game used for $14.99, and I ordered it.

Are people still playing this online?

People in general still are, but I haven't gotten to play with people on OS very much. I might jump on later tonight, though.

Actually got a chance to play this last night.

The opening movie was spectacular. Some of the best graphics I've ever seen.

Played about 20/30 minutes of the campaign. I like it so far. I just have trouble avoiding grenades, I never seem to run away quick enough. But I'm having fun even though I'm not a big fan of fps.

Might do some multiplayer tonight, or try co-op with a friend.

Definitely worth the $15 I paid so far.

Gamefly has had used game deals each night around 8pm the last few weeks. Last week they had killzone 3 for $14.99 so I bought it. Great deal.

Killzone 3 Multiplayer Coming Free to a PlayStation Near You

This week, Sony announced a new experiment in free-to-play gaming coming to the Playstation Network, in their most recent Blogcast podcast.
Killzone 3 Multiplayer will be available on PSN next week. This edition of the shooter spins off the multiplayer part of the game as a separate entity from the single-player campaign, bringing all of Killzone 3's multiplayer modes and maps, including a year's worth of DLC maps, to consoles for free. Developers Guerrilla Games explain that players have access to all multiplayer material until the level of Sergeant I before needing to pay $15 to unlock and continue leveling or gaining trophies.
Killzone 3 launched almost exactly a year ago, in February 2011. The Kotaku review at release called it a "colorful, wonderful, enthusiastic mess."

Great opportunity for those that never bought killzone 3.

Multiplayer is excellent (I'm not even a big fan of fps games) and now with this the community will really expand again.

My only question is with this download you get all of the dlc maps to play; but those of us that bought the game already and don't have the dlc don't get it?
