For XBOX I would get OXM. Demos and they do not rate every game high just because they are an XBOX mag...

Well for one, I wouldn't say GamePro. Their previews are just copies of the stuff the companies release about their games. What's even worse though, is that they will repeat them in consecutive issues, all they do is add different screen shots and re-word it a little. That magazines really gone downhill.

Whatever you do please avoid GMR at all costs. It's EB's publication (like Game Informer is Gamestop's mag) and I'm tellin' you it absolutely sucks. It's HOOOOOORIBLE!!!

I would recommend: <ul type="square">[*] PLAY for excellent previews of your non-sports gaming stuff. [*] OXM or OPM for Demo disks...[*] EGM for general stuff.[/list]

To be honest, none of them are that good anymore, so the Demo Disks are a nice draw.

Game informer is probably my personal favortie. I used to love egm but they're new magazine format is horrendous. Its completly unorganizied. As for gamepro and GMR they are really at the bottom of the barrel. OXM is nice cuz of they free disk. OPSM is good but you only get like 4 or 5 demos.

Play is pretty good, they always seem to have screens that I havn't seen before. Also, for X-Boxers, XBN is a little high-brow but really good. It reminds me of Next-Gen (I miss that mag.)
