which one takes the thrown? i just was curious about everyones opinion

Technically SFIV isn't in the same camp, b/c it's more of a 2D fighting game.

But I like Tekken 6 more than the other 3D fighters you mentioned by far. And I have owned them all.

As far as fighting games in general on this generation of consoles, here is my top 5.

1. Tekken 6
2. Blazblue
3. SF IV
4. SF HD Remix
5. VF 5

Yah SF IV shouldn't be in there or any other 2D plane game.

Tekken 6 > VF 5 > DOA 4 > Soul Calibur

I gave it to Tekken over VF 5 because I hate ring outs but VF 5 is still better than DOA 4 and those over SC because I perfer the hand to hand fighting. That said all 4 are really good.

Not sure where Battle Fantasia fits,I only played it the one time because of how horrid the 360 controller was for it but I should finally be able to play it now with the fight stick.

MK and DBZ don't deserve mention with the others and I dunno what happend to KOF exactly but that fell off bad.

I disagree. KI was good back in the day but Tekken was always the top fighter in my eyes.

Yeah. They need to bring back some of the all time great fighters like Shaq-Fu!

Tekken was always the fan favorite over Virtua Fighter because VF always went the realistic route. i always preferred VF over Tekken. I still havent played tekken 6 but im sure it hasn't deviated much from the last tekken.
