Console returns at EB...
I was just wondering if anyone has ever returned a console system back to EB. I bought an Xbox for Christmas a year and a half ago, and with it I paid $50 for a 2 year warranty on it. Well it worked fine until a couple of weeks ago, but now everytime I put in a game it will almost always give me a DDE. I've had it happen to High Heat 2004, NBA 2k3, NBA Street Vol. 2, and NCAA Football 2003. It even happened to the copy of Midtown Madness 3 that I purchased on the day of its release. I thought it was just the actual game discs, but I've come to the conclusion that it is the Xbox itself. I came to that conclusion after renting NCAA 2003, and while it wouldn't work on my Xbox, we have currently simulated over 40 seasons of a dynasty on a friend's Xbox, and it has worked flawlessly. That being said, I'm curious to know if anyone else has had a similar problem with a console, and if EB gave them a hard time upon returning the system. When I bought my Xbox and my PS2 from EB, they told me that as long as I didn't tamper with the console, they would have to oblige and give me a new system. I haven't tampered with the Xbox at all, so I am curious to see if they will give me any trouble.Tags: None -
Re: Console returns at EB...
You will have no problem at all. If you have a copy of your ESA with you, it will only take a couple of minutes to complete the transaction and you walk out with a new system. If you don't have a copy of your ESA then you will need to tell them when you purchased your Xbox so they can find a copy of the ESA that they filed away.
I happen to know this cause I work for EB.

Hey man I appreciate it. I've got my copy of the ESA taped to the bottom of my Xbox's box, so that shouldn't be a problem. One more question though. Should I delete all of my gave saves and soundtracks?Comment
