Avast ye land lubbers...





Pirates o' the Caribbean has the most jaw-droppingly georgous water effects i've ever seen. This game looks fantastic. When you're sailing, you can walk around on deck in first person and I'm tellin' y'all, If you get caught in a storm....Man, it has got to be seen to believed..It looks exactly and I mean EXACTLY like the end of the movie "A Perfect Storm" it is absolutely beautiful.

Oh and the gamplay isn't bad either. The land missions feel like Morrowind Lite, very similar to Elder Scrolls but with a little less freedom. The sailing alone is worth the price of admission though...

I just got my copy yesterday, messing around with it now. But is the frame rate supposed to be this bad?

according to akella and bethesda, give it about 45 minutes or so and the framerate should improve. Game has to cache into the xbox or some jive. I only had some slowdown during the tutorial, but ever since not a drop in frames.
