I just picked this up on Steam with left 4 Dead 2. For the guys that don't know it is a hack-n-slash dungeon crawler like Diablo. I have spent about 4 hours on it since I got to work. From around 9am to around 1pm I been playing while bored at work and it is a kickass action RPG. For anyone who enjoys this genre, I highly suggest TorchLight and with it only costing 19.99$ it is a damn good deal.

Pros - Cool vibrant art style, Cool effects, alot of weapons and add ons, random generated loot and map layouts.
Cons - Only 3 characters, Range, Tank, and a Mage. Then you build up those three depending on how you wish. Not extremely deep class system. No multiplayer - Singleplayer only

I think you will dig it. For the price it is a hell of a game.

I played the 2 hour Demo and this will be a definite buy once I finish God of War, Dragon Age: Origin, and Stalker. This is a game that has gone under the radar and should be checked out by everyone...

$5 on Steam right now. Going to get it myself. Never heard about it before today, but it got good reviews and it looks pretty cool.

my interest in Diablo II also led me to doing some research on this game. Seems alright, though I can't get it because there's no mac version yet. I read it's coming to consoles, which would be sweet, but who knows when that will happen.

Its a fun little game. I dislike that there is no multiplayer but I give that a pass because they are making an MMO with it now which I know I will be checking out. On the positive side without multiplayer all the loot is yours! :wink:

And didn't the team build this game in a single year? Pretty good to do considering the cycle time some companies do for a game

just bought it myself for $5 on steam. I dont know if ill ever even play it, but i spent more money at burger king today =P

Just started playing today and man oh man. How is this even legal?

It is a blatant rip off of WoW and Diablo II. I mean, they don't even try to hide it; same item names, almost identical icons for things, the way it plays, I mean everything. It looks like someone basically updated Diablo II with WoW graphics and packaged it up.

I love it so far, but I'm stunned that they haven't been sued up the ying yang.
