Re: First Game You Beat?
I was thinking the same thing, but then I realized how much I sucked at video games when I was a kid. Played all the DK games on SNES never beat them, played all the spyro games never beat them, zelda for 64, super mario 64...I could go on. I was downright terrible, which is honestly why I prefered watching others play instead of playing myself
I guess my first one that I beat was Harvest moon 64, when I made it 3 years or whatever you had to do to beat it. It took all the way up until last year when I beat Saints Row 2 to finally beat another game, and now I'm actually decent at playing non sports games.Comment

Dragon Warrior, I remember that game. I got it for my birthday, but sad thing was that Hurricane Hugo wrecked Charlotte on the very same day. We were without electricity for a whole week. Longest week of my life.Comment

Re: First Game You Beat?
Sorry to be a little off topic, but Double Dragon on NES was the first time a game let me down in my life. My brother and I saved our allowance for weeks and had to scour that Nintendo Power Station in the middle of the mall. We finally get it and bring it home. I remember sitting at the edge of the bed with a controller and my brother with another controller ready for some 2 player arcade Double Dragon fun. A couple of blows into the cartridge followed by sticking the sleeve on top of the cartridge inside the NES it finally started up. 1 player only....what?
That game beat me.Comment
