How about the Toca racing series. I still play Toca 3 on my PS2.

lot of talk about the 'shadow of' game.
i know the adam sandler character was hooked on it in that movie, which i forget the name of.
but i might have to seek this thing out.

Yeah, I've never played the game and really wanted to. It came out after I had given my PS2 away though. I'd play the PS2 version now if I still had the system, I don't mind it not being that great graphically but if they remastered it for the PS3 it'd be an instant buy for me.

I know. I saw that and called my buddies who played it as well (we started by taking turns playing my game...then everyone got so into it they got their own...lol).

I was so excited. What's worse is the creator's keep teasing the idea. Damn false hope!

Ico/Shadow of the Colossus are perfect and it makes sense since they're both 1st party Sony games, and with The Last Guardian releasing sometime within the next year I guess. Nice call on Syphon Filter also; the original was a great game. The original Tenchu was great also. But my vote would go for Ico/SotC hands down

My two favorite games on the PS2 were Metal Gear Solid 3 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

                      So, yeah, those.

If Sony made it a point to make all of their PS2 heavy hitter titles upgraded, then they might just become my main gaming console for 2010. I hope they make a lot of remakes.
