Has anyone downloaded GTA san andreas from the marketplace? I have just gotten into the GTA series and its only 1200 points.

You might be able to find a used copy of San Andreas that is much cheaper than that. But ya, if you enjoy GTA then you should really check out San Andreas. IMO it was one of the best in the series from last gen. It's a close tie between SA and Vice City for me. -

I think your only option as of right now is to purchase a PS2 copy and play it on your PS3 (if it is backwards compatible).Comment

Alright, sounds good, dont have a PS2 and my PS3 isnt backwards compatible so I will continue to wait it out. Sorry for hi-jacking the thread since it clearly wasnt about the PS3, figured it was better to ask here instead of creating another completely new thread just to ask.Comment

you can find it cheaper that $15 for sure.
The only reason it's on XBL is because the 360 can do xbox backwards compatibility. Sony can't just throw ps2 games on PSN the same way, they have to be ported for ps3 hardware like the God of War collection.Comment
