Boba Fett in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Yes, at the Force Unleashed Comic-Con panel, LucasArts confirmed that Boba Fett is in the next installment of Starkiller's story. Seems that when the "maybe he's a Jedi clone/maybe he's not a Jedi" clone busts out of Vader's control, the man in black hires Fett to track down Starkiller.Last edited by Flawless; 07-23-2010, 11:17 AM.Go Noles!!! >>-----> -
Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
If you do, get the Sith Edition. (for the cool "what if" twist with Tatooine)
The game is a fantastic Star Wars story. I wish it was a movie, it would have been dark and gritty in the vein of Episode 3, and would have been great to go from there to this game's story.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I am also a HUGE Star Wars geek.
I guarantee I'll be rebuying the game tonight. Never got DLC or the Sith edition....
Until now.
I love Star Wars and still have the SNES games as well as Jedi Academy(One of my all time favorites), Outcast, lego, Rogue Squadrons etc...
Never got the Sith Edition.....Last edited by Skyboxer; 07-23-2010, 11:40 AM.Joshua:

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Saw the box at gamestop.
If you pre-order the game you get at gamestop:
Maulkiller Skin - In the cloning facilities of Kamino, Darth Vader created a warrior of unparalleled strength and power by combining the genetic material of Darth Maul, former apprentice of Sith Lord Darth Sidious, with his own apprentice, Starkiller. The resulting aberrant clone possessed traits from both warriors, but the crude fusion of two disparate Force users quickly produced physical and mental instabilities that led to the unfortunate clone’s destruction. For a brief time he struck fear into the hearts of all who faced him, even Lord Vader himself.
Maulkiller Silver Saber Crystal – The perfect companion to the Maulkiller costume, the silver crystals make his dual lightsabers look like an extension of the silver Zabrac styled tattoos that cover his body and face. This powerful crystal allows the player to consume less Force Energy when using Force Powers so that he can devastate his enemies.Comment

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Darth Maul could have been as big a badass as he looked if Lucas had, you know, kept him around for longer than 15 minutes.

Bao-Dur also served the Zabrak race well. Thinking of that makes me want to hunt down a copy of KOTOR II.Comment

I beg to differ on that one candyman.......I thought Maul was badass and Lucas was a buffoon to kill him off in the first movie.Comment

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Maul is cool but they didn't do anything good with him in the movie. Aside from he final fight scene all he did was ride around on his speeder bike. Not very menacing.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Yup.
Maul was the biggest ****-up of the "new triology."
He easily could've been one of the best Star Wars characters. He looked more badass than any character in the series, he could've easily put on the best fight scenes, and, in general he just would've been incredible.Comment

This game looks amazing. Sam Witwer was a good choice for this character. I also liked him in Smallville. I stopped watching after the season ended with Doomsday.LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS!

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
I agree. Darth Maul could have been awesome.
I'm going to keep my eye on this game but I didn't like the first one that much and didn't bother finishing it (don't think I even got very far before I traded it). It was more of a button masher and I was hoping to have more strategy involved. It just didn't live up to what I wanted I guess. I like Star Wars but just couldn't get into the first game.
I'm going to read all of your impressions to see how much the game has changed. This could be an interesting pickup over the holidays or a pass for me. I just don't see many non sports games that I really want to play right now.Comment

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Meh, I come away disappointed with every gameplay video that comes out. The visuals and sound appear to be awesome but the lightsaber baseball bat is still very much in effect.....with decapitation/limb slicing being a relatively rare occurance. The powers are even more out of control this time around. These games are supposed to be canon and yet, this apprentice regularly displays wild sith/jedi powers that no Master in the films (yoda, Palpatine, Vader, or Kenobi) could ever touch. That said, i'll still pick it up. The story in the first game was awesome and it looks to be cool this time around too.
I continue to hold out hope that we'll get another Jedi Knight game someday. I still have more fun playing the backward compatible Jedi Academy than TFU. Another modern Rogue Squadron-type game would be nice too.Last edited by metallicatz; 09-22-2010, 07:45 PM.Comment
