I agree. The transforming aspect adds something extra. I do not know how long the buzz would last, but the demo made me think about a purchse...so I guess mission accomplished.

Thus far the demo has confirmed a purchase for me. I said I was going to purchase it when I first saw the trailer. The demo has kept me steady and anticipating release.

Is the PS3 demo coming before release at all or is it coming after? These type of exclusive demo's I just do not get as it ends up hurting the publisher/developer losing on sales, unless they receive a substantial amount for the demo being exclusive.

From what I understand, the demo is 360 only.

Again, I 100% agree, having an exclusive demo is probably the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Not sure if it's a test to see how it affects sales or what, just dumb.

I don't mind as much say if the 360/PS3 demo hits this week, then the other hits next week, and the game is 3 weeks away, because before it's released there's nothing we can do anyway. But exclusive content as a whole from 3rd parties is BAD for the business. IMO anyway.

Can anyone with the demo please tell me whether or not there's an alternate control scheme that allows you to instead turn with the left analog stick and strafe with the right analog stick? This is not a lefty configuration, it's similar to "Legacy" in Call of Duty or "Scout" in SOCOM.

Couldn't say it any better.........some solid points there. I'll have to gamefly this first then before a purchase. It looks like they might finally have a Transformers game that gets it right like the original PS2 version. Then after that the Transformers games were so-so.

The last Tomb Raider game got an exclusive demo on the 360 and I just ignored the title altogether. I can sort of understand exclusive games due to money and who the publisher is but exclusive demos on a multi-platform game? Absolutely stupid.

Well, I'm not impressed. I guess I was hoping for a single player demo as well, it's too much like Call of Duty with Kill Streaks, perks, etc.

Still want it for single player, but didn't really get into the multiplayer at all.

I'm hoping the single player is good, but with so much focus on multiplayer, and very little hands-on reports have me a bit worried of it's quality and length. I'm not really looking to play another multiplayer shooter at this time.

Yeah, that's probably what is hurting it for me. It's not bad by any means, it's just not what I really wanted, and that's what I fear it is..another multiplayer based game.

I felt the same way when I first booted it up. Its not bad, but I was really hoping for something different on the demo.
