Re: New rainbow 6?
I haven't heard any news, but I wish they would make a new one. For some reason I think the series is dead.
They should just release all the old maps from Vegas 1 playable for Vegas 2. -

Re: New rainbow 6?
Yeah, that's what I figured out too. Shame, because the AC series is way overhyped. Maybe we will see a new Rainbow Six game on the PS4/720.Comment

Ubisioft has confirmed the existence of a new Ghost Recon game - and said the title is 'so impressive, it will rival Assassin's Creed as our biggest game of the year'.
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said yesterday: "The evolution of Ghost Recon will bring a completely new and fresh approach to the shooter genre.
"The title is so impressive, it has the potential to rival Assassin's Creed as our biggest game of fiscal year '11."Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: New rainbow 6?
I LOVE R6 Vegas (played only the first one so far). Another R6 in another major city could be nice.
As for GR, I played the GRAW demo and didn't like it that much. I had GR2 on the PS2 and loved it! I think 3rd person perspective is better for this game (I played GRAW on the PC).My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment

The third-person view in GRAW and GRAW 2 take away from the realism that the game was trying to establish as it was possible for a player to look around and pan the camera in ways to not expose himself/herself to fire while hiding completely behind objects. The player isn't really forced to risk peeking around at all.
In my opinion the Ghost Recon series needs to go back to its core roots, which was exclusively first-person camera view with no drones and no radar. That's exactly how it was in the very first GR along with the spin-off games Desert Siege (exclusive for PC & PS2) and Island Thunder (Xbox version) / Jungle Storm (PS2 version).
