    S-video / HD 480p help

    Hey,

I just bought a "Microsoft High Definition AV Pack Model: K03-00001" hoping to run NCAA 2004 at 480p. When I put it to 480p the screen was split, and all sorts of fuzzy stuff.

I thought that my big screen tv could run it, it is a
Toshiba TP50H50. It has Color Stream TM (Composite?), which is what I use to plug the DVD player into.

My question is whether I should keep it how it is (the high def hook up, but running it normal) or buy an S-Video adapaters that I know the TV can support.

    Thanks

you have to have a component connection for 480p to work. Is your TV HD? If not then you 480p won't work. In that case, go with the s-video.

The TV has component and composite, but no HD.

Should I keep it plugged into the component, but not run 480 ... or return it for s-video?

          Thanks for the help again.

just don't run 480p - component will give you a slightly better pic than s-video.
