Naw, you cant be a wookie but you can have one in your party.

I was also like you and did'nt get Matrix because it was a tad bit overrated. Everyone said it was an excellent game but when I played it gamestop I was like..meh, this is a rental.

But as for Star Wars, this game is all I wanted in a Star Wars game. One of my favorite aspects of an RPG is in this game, and thats making your own decisions when interacting with NPCs. You've got lots of responses to choose from when dealing with an NPC. So my guess is that its also multiple endings, so you cant go wrong with this game.
