Assassins Creed 3 - Possible Locations?

I just picked up Assassins Creed 2 last week, and I'm honestly blown away. It's one of the most surreal gaming experiences I have ever experienced. Everything about this game from the secrets, to the story, to the side-quests are first class all the way. As a history buff, I'm in gamer heaven with the Italian Renaissance era setting.

Which got me thinking about part 3... (I know, I'm only 9 hrs into part one and I'm already thinking about 3)

What historical era would you like to see the next Assassins Creed take place?

    Here are my choices:

    1. French revolution era France (1789) - I think this particular time and setting would be perfect. If anyone knows anything about the French revolution, it was a time of great unrest and espionage. Political enemies were being publicly executed on the guillotine daily, everyone was on edge. This could make for an awesome gaming experience, roaming the streets and scaling the rooftops of Paris would be a joy. Not to mention climbing to the top of Notre Dame, or infiltrating the Bastille!

Alternate locations that our assassin can visit during this time could be Chartes, Nice, Bordeaux. It's really endless.

    2. Rome (1800s) - Although I think it would be difficult to repeat the Italian setting, it would be hard to top Rome in terms of treasure hunting and scenic beauty. Everything from the ancient ruins to the Vatican, would be fantastic.

    3. The Industrial Revolution - London (late 1800s) - This is another era in history that would be chock full of cool gaming elements. Everything from steam powered weapons, to riding on trains, to roaming the dark streets of the 19 century London. It could really take a lot from Sherlock Holmes and work the conspiracy/mystery angle to the max.

Any way, those are my ideas. I'd like to hear what guys think.

I'd like to see a female assassin in the third game, as for location, I think Rome might be cool.

Don't quote me on this but I'm sure I saw somewhere that they were continuing with Desmond and Ezio.

I am pretty sure PBlast is right...I am thinking French Revo..***ssia...so many chaotic times in Russia, and odd times too...would love it during Peter the Great, could have a side quest given by him to cut off people's beards or something :S. Spain is great....could do Netherlands...England, Glorious Revolution maybe more specifically. Throughout time each have had some crazy times, so yea. I think Russia is particularly cool because you could work in Mongols...and maybe Europe, so you can have the best of both worlds. I hope that there aren't TOO many guns in the next game, I could pretty much predict there will be. Maybe it could be the colonies even, you could be doing the dirty work and killing Native Americans who aren't letting the Europeans take land...then maybe you go through the whole "you are an assassin thing" and learn just how corrupt the people you are working for are and the wrong path you are going on, start killing the people instead...but even then. It would have to be mostly killing Natives and I am sure someone would slander the game for that...otherwise too much guns.

I got the feeling at least part of it will be more modern...I think that makes sense given the story we've seen so far.

Desmond will be in it, but Ezio can't return he was Italian, if they move forward he can't be in the next game...

French Revolution era sounds interesting. Hoping across rooftop to rooftop, building to building while the Republicans and Royalists are killing each other in the streets. Aristocrats hanging from lamp posts while people around them dance and and sing "Ca Ira" sounds fun.

                  YES.

I never thought of Russia, but that would be a great setting, especially during the overthrow of the Tsars and the rise to power of the Bolshevik party. Ha, maybe Rasputin can play the DaVinci role of hooking you up with gadgets or skills.

I would be open to playing as a female assassin, but I'm not so sure I'd like to play an entire game with a female assassin. It would be cool if they reveal Lucy also comes from a line of assassins and we can play as her. Just an idea.

Rasputin was dead by the time beginning of the February Revolution.

Looks like it's going to be Rome after all.

I'm sure it will be awesome, but I was hoping to play as another assassin in another time period/locale.
