Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
A few tips that have helped me make the transition from cod.
For close up gun fights, I don't zoom in at all..I use the default camera view..this has drastically helped.
Medium range, I use left trigger
Long range, click the right button.
I played for 3 hours last night..loving the game so far..my only issue is I am never the Americans..I mean ever..I miss my acr..am I doing something wrong?Comment

GRFS Beta Balance and Game Play Changes
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GRFS Beta - Balance and Game Play Changes
As part of our dedication to the community and showing you how your feedback is directly helping the development teams, here are the first feedback concerns that we’re addressing:
360 ONLY - Grenades are over-powered: we are reducing the grenade blast kill-radius according to your feedback and the analysis of your matches.
360 ONLY - Confusion was caused by the 4-man party and 6-man team matchmaking: we are increasing the maximum party size to 6 in order to align with the team size.
360 & PS3 - We are universally increasing the speed of XP acquisition in order to gain additional feedback on the weapons and equipment unlocked later in the character progression system.
360 & PS3 - Last but not least, in thanks for the feedback you have provided, we are releasing the Saboteur game type early, today.
In Saboteur use stealth and cunning to capture the explosive briefcase and detonate it on the opposing team's objective. Saboteur really emphasizes the teamwork aspect of Ghost Recon Future Soldier, and we hope that you’ll enjoy it as much as we do.
Currently Grenades and Party changes will only be active on Xbox 360; we are working to bring these changes to the PS3 Beta as well. Changes will be active across the platforms listed and require a reboot of the servers (currently scheduled for 6:00pm EDT). We will revise this thread with additional updates as we publish them.
For known-issues please see the GRFS Beta Known Issues thread.

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
My second go around with this game was much better and I actually enjoyed myself...guess having bad teammates really makes a difference in whether or not I enjoy myself lol.
Anyways I have a new channel that will be dedicated to BF3 and GRFS, I just recently finished my first commentary ever and I just wrapped up a GRFS one as well. Check it out if you'd like and your support would be much appreciated guys! Look forward to much more GRFS as the beta goes on and when the full game is released.

Don't forget to subscribe, like, fav, and comment for your fellow OSer!
If anyone would like to hook up on the PS3 to be on one of the videos hit me up on PSN or YouTube.
EDIT: While I am sleeping I am currently adding a better sound and 1080p quality video of the same GRFS one.Last edited by PaperBoyx703; 04-25-2012, 01:10 AM.PSN: TBD

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Nice, slow paced, tactical gameplay. Just what Ghost Recon is known for. Heck, even Pipeline for Saboteur is slow paced.
Now, if I can only get teammates who actually play the objective and not run around to get kills...Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Im really digging this game. I thought BF3 was going to be the one to replace COD for me, but this is it. It is not going to replace COD, but give it a compliment. I see a lot of my friends and I playing this game over the summer. I have been wanting a real strategic shooter that still moves well and this is it.
COD, with all the kids and all the Unreal tourney type movement is so annoying. When I get killed in this game, sometimes all I can do is give the guy props and I dont feel cheated.
Also, is there anything more satisfying then popping up from cover, firing off a few rounds for a headshot and then popping back down?Comment

Re: Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
I'll have to give the new mode a shot later today. I ended up renting Splinter Cell Conviction to get the beta code and I'm surprised how many positive reviews of the game their are. I still haven't popped it in yet, but I had a couple of coupons from Gamefly and decided to purchase it for $3.73. Even if I don't like the it, you really can't beat that price.Comment
