Castle Crashers for XBLA (I don't own, but want too)
(old school in all the good ways)

Revenge of the Wounded Dragons PSN (I do own)
(this game is exactly like the old school beat'em ups - 2 Player as well - Reviews for the game have been unkind since they complain it does nothing new - EXACTLY - it's not trying too)

while i greatly enjoyed games like Streets of Rage in my youth I just don't see me making an appointment to play a game like this with another grown *** man.

remember these games had no save point. you and a buddy had to commit to sitting down together for 2 or more hours in order to beat the game. personally i require more from my gaming experience these days than punch punch kick combinations. I need a nice long game to feel like I got my money's worth or at least a game with good replay value.

If you have a PS3 Yakuza 3 is a good one to get.
