Nabbed it from Wal-mart though it was $25 but I guess that's how much it is in Canada from looking around. I only watched the intro so far. Looked like subtitles can't be turned off.
Not only is there eating and sleeping your car has gas and have to constantly change suits and send them to the dry cleaners. Oi!

The controls are awkward,one save file sucks (I wanted to do the opening again just to see what happens if you don't press A),can't turn off sub-titles (though based on the video above maybe that's not bad),went to the Resident Evil school of can't move and shoot at the same time,headshots don't matter,level textures are awful...but atmosphere seems pretty nice,infinte ammo for your pistols that's apprently all you need on easy and the story seems pretty fantastic but that's to be expected after Spy Fiction. Don't mind the Twin Peaks similarities either.Comment

Turns out headshots do something and you get $10 for them (or so the game says,I didn't actually get any of this money it says I'm getting and that kinda sucks after I stood there for 5 minutes killing an infinite spawning enemy thinking I was getting $20 per kill). Guess they just don't work on the backwards walking things.
Also you CAN move and shoot but only sideways with LB/RB. He also feels the need to put the gun away if you don't shoot something after a bit so if he just put it away and there's something around the corner he has to take it out again.
This is like if David Lynch did the Silent Hill movie.Comment

Deadly Premonition is like watching two clowns eat each other. It's perverse, it's wrong, and yet it's so ****ing funny. There are many who will not understand, or not even want to understand what makes it so compelling and excellent despite its quality. For the twenty dollar price tag, however, there will be no finer experience for survival horror fans with a love for the darkly comic. The game took me just under nineteen hours to complete, and that was with plenty of side missions left to finish. In the budget game sphere, no title has ever been so lengthy, so robust, so varied and so very rewarding. One simply has to factor the price into the judgement for this one, because value for money is through the roof and the evident love put into this game's development is something you never really see from any other game in the same price bracket. Ultimately, Ignition could have charged a bit more for this and it would still be worth it.Comment

I have given up on the game. The story is decent, but the rest of the game is trash. It is a pain just to walk up or down the stairs. Thats how bad the controls are. I have too many good games in my collection that need playing, to waste time playing this ****.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

bought it, and it really is so bad it's good. a couple things so far that had me rollin
1. the driving controls that they only show you once in the whole game
2. this lovely engrish sign I found in the hospital
