I really do love this game. But I think I liked LA Noire better so far. I got really into the story more, and some side missions kind of get repetitive for me.

Amazing series, and can't wait to finish, but it's not a top 5 game for me like an Uncharted, MGS, or RDR.

For those that are intrested, I just picked up the Heroic Edition of this at GS for 60. Comes with DLC, the statue, and the awesome backpack...lol

Ironically, a game that pokes fun at the Red Rings of Death is the one that caused my PS3 to receive the Yellow Light of Death

is this alot better than the first one? i still havent finished it. after awhile, it became really repetitive.

I played through the game again this week this time as evil Cole. Nix's story was a lot better than Kwo I thought, and the evil ending was kind of sad. Both playthroughs were great though. Game of the year so far for me.

I agree. It was a very sad ending if you ask me, but one of my most favorite platinums yet.

That was upsetting and kind of sucked. I felt bad the whole time killing civilians. I thought evil Cole powers were much better and he looks cool as being evil, but killing Zeke and doing all that bad stuff kind of sucked in a way from a moral stand point. Now the thing is where do they go from here?

I think a game with the First Sons could be good. I would hope they can bring Cole back some how as I've really grown attached to the character. I would hate to play as someone all over again. It's like the crap they did with Resistance killing off good old Hale, who was so badass. I like Capelli, but not the same imo. We will see in a month.

At this point, I can see Cole coming back as the end of boss for Infamous 3. In so many ways, the evil ending seems to work much better than the good ending.

Hello there PlayStation.Blog readers! Hopefully, all of you inFAMOUS fans have had a chance to play plenty of the UGC missions since our June launch. Here’s a fun fact: Players have spent a total of 451,251 hours – or 51 years – playing those UGC missions. While those missions have kept you entertained, it’s now time for a major DLC announcement.

inFAMOUS 2 Festival of Blood will be a brand new standalone single player DLC for download via PSN. Vampires swarm New Marais, and revered superhero Cole MacGrath has been bitten. To save his soul – and the city – he has just one night to find and kill the head vampire. Featuring new missions, themed environment settings, plus new characters and enemies, Festival of Blood explores the darker side of the inFAMOUS universe. Previous inFAMOUS games will not be needed to play this DLC.

The DLC will swarm PSN in October, in time for Halloween. In the meantime, here is the first piece of high-res art and a new video teaser trailer during Pyre Night in New Marais. Enjoy!

Release Date & Price Info

Sony has announced a release date and price for Infamous 2's Festival of Blood DLC.

The downloadable single-player expansion (which features Move support) comes out on October 25 for $14.99 over the PlayStation Network. The actual Infamous 2 disc is not needed to play the DLC.

At the same time, the base Infamous 2 game will also get Move support via a free game update.

Anyone interested in playing through the game again with the Move?

Just beat the game. First I went the Hero route. Then the Infamous route.

Gotta say I liked the Infamous one better in terms of sheer potential. The way it happened made me think of it as the real canon ending.

And this Festival of Blood. Gotta say, it's an intriguing shift.
