I Quit!!!! Frustrating Games

What games have you put some time into, get to a point that gets frustrating and then you finally go, That's It, I Quit!!!!!

The most recent game for me is Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Wii. I played about 3 hours and I was already upset at a puzzle that I would never had answered without a faq. Then came a chase sequence that I tried 4 times and thought my deaths were cheap since 3 of the times the game didn't recognize my Wiimote actions so I turned off the game and shouted, That's It, I Quit!!!!

In Metal Gear Solid 4 I played to the snow sequence and after dying a lot and not liking what I had to do I said, That's It, I Quit!!!

Mega Man 2. Is it heat man where you have to jump on the disappearing blocks? That sequence makes me hate life.

I've been stuck on the final battle on GOW1 on Spartan difficulty. Those ****ing Kratos clones make me rage so hard!

Metal Gear Solid 2 - I could never beat the stupid clown bomber. I must have tried 8000 times and could never get it done. I eventually just gave up.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - The sniper battle with "The End". I wasted an entire day (14 hrs) trying to beat him. I got so close, needing only one shot to kill him after chasing him around for like an hour, and he went and used the rain or whatever to gain all his health back. I was like F-this, I don't need this aggravation in my life.

Up until these two boss fights, I absolutely loved these two games and it always bothered me I never got to play them all the way through.

Midtown Madness 2. There was a race where you had to jump on like four barges at certain angles and beat a time. It was f-ing impossible. Landing on all barges was hard enough, but beating the time drove me insane. Never did it.

Grand Theft Auto 4...The last mission for me. Tried it at least 40 times...That's the limit for me. Recently started over and will choose a different path so I can get a different last mission.

Demon's Souls...Flamelurker absolutely owned me. Couldn't even get close so after about 10 times I said "that's enough" cause you basically have to make a run from the begining after you die. Got my money's worth anyway cause I put in well over 100 hours into that game.

Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox. The boss battle against Alma man I hated that bitch so much lol. I had never thrown my controller until I played that boss battle. I played that same fight for a few hours and eventually I just gave up. Never picked up that game again, I know it was a great game but I just couldnt deal with that battle. Especially when I knew that the game was only going to get harder as I went on.

I felt like I missed out on such a great game but never in my life had I felt that frustrated playing a game. Not to mention on some of the boss battle before that I was finishing them with only a sliver of life left.

Trials HD (XBLA) drove me friggin' nuts. I loved it until I started being unable to beat ANY levels. Still a great game, though.

Let me help you, bro. Those are two epic games! This is like the only series that I've beaten every iteration. I even went back and beat the old ones on NES lol.

Back on topic: I just had one of these moments last night with NBA Live 10. I was the Bobcats on the road against LA. I was up by 20 going into the 4th and they outscored me by 21. It was straight up BS lol! I took it back to GS and got Heavy Rain and been happy as hell ever since

Damn I feel sorry for you man, those were two of the best games ever made imo, it's a shame you never saw the endings, especially in Snake Eater.

To the OP, I was going to get SH: Shattered Memories for PS2, but they I saw there was no fighting and was like, WTF. I no longer want that game

Anyways, GTA: San Andreas, the driving school missions, particularly the one where you have to do 5 laps around the cones, was particularly exapsperating for me.

Also, ATV Offroad Fury 4 for PS2. I eventually got to a point where I just couldn't win the next race that I needed to win to advance in the game.
