HELP! Gamestop has robbed me

need some advice here from anyone who has dealt with this sort of thing shopping from gamestop online. I had an unused 250$ GC for gamestop.com I went to make my purchase of MLB 10 The Show. I went through all the ordering steps, and on the very last page it told me the total (72.34$), and gave me a chance to input my gift card. After I put it in, it gave me a bolded total of 72.34$. I think this would odd, put placed my order, paying all in GC money. So I went to check my gift card balance, and it tells me 72.34$. I try making another order to test it, and it went through. My balance still said 72.34$. I got two confirmation emails for my orders. So when I woke up this morning I chcked my inbox to see that one of my orders (the 2nd) had been cancelled. I went on the website to check if it would display my accurate gift card balance on this day. It displayed 0.00$. I sent an email but havent gotten a response. How do I get them to restore my credit? Obviously my original GC wasn't for 72.34$

Dude, you just sent the email this morning when you woke up, they aren't going to respond THAT quickly. Second of all, CALL THEM. Get through to someone and actually talk to them.

Exactly what Dalewood said- you need to call them. It is possible that you (or somebody else) has used the GC in the past, but you won't be able to find that out unless you call them. There is a phone number (should be an 800 number) on the back of the card. Call that. You will probably get a machine automatically, but if you hit "0", you might be able to get an operator (if that isn't an immediate option). Good luck.

they did the same thing to me last year last time i'll order online with a giftcard. but once you call u need to have the order number , your gift card number once they have all that they can tell you what was bought on the card . also it will take 3-7 business days to get the money back on the card. there online system sucks . your better off going to the store than monkeying around online.
