The SOCOM 4 Multiplayer Beta will roll out in four separate phases. It'll begin with a small, private group and then expand weekly from there until it's freely available to everyone! Here's the schedule for each of the beta's rollout phases:

On March 15th, a private beta goes live. We’ll be contacting eligible players soon.
Beginning March 22nd, PlayStation Plus members will gain access to the beta.
On March 29th, anyone with a beta code included with Killzone 3 gains entry.
Starting April 5th, the beta will be freely downloadable to anyone via PlayStation Network.

I'm not buying KZ3.....

I'm not signing up for PS+.....

I had a feeling PS+ subscribers would be getting in, but those that bought KZ3 are kind of getting a raw deal - a week after PS+ and only one more week than the general public.

I may have to dl Socom confrontation again to get my skills back up. Socom has and will always be my fav shooter of ALL time.

Yup, kind of how I feel. Only bought Killzone for the Socom Beta, although I surprisingly enjoyed the SP experience in KZ. Looks like I will be putting it on EBay ASAP or trading it in and possibly going with PS+.

I've been playing a little of Socom Confrontation this week and am itching to start playing Socom 4's classic mode.

I think people like me that bought Killzone 3 should get in the beta the same time PS+ members do as we shelled out money as well. I was getting Killzone 3 regardless of the beta so it didn't affect my purchase. People that went out and bought Killzone 3 just for the beta would have been better off becoming a PS+ member. I also think Sony should have let people know this before Killzone 3 came out so people could decide what they want to do.

I have a KZ code as well and I'm a PS+ member. Only somebody who is truly interested in SOCOM 4 can have the code.
