Do your arms get tired when using the SS or can you play for long periods? Thanks.

If you are not positioned well I could see where your arms would tire. Someone on another forum gave me some tips and I have not had any problems yet, but I don't sit for hours upon hours either so it will probably never be an issue for me.

I am happy so say that I am really starting to get somewhat comfortable with the SS/Move I switched the nav controller part to my left hand and and the trigger finger to my right hand and everything started to click. My movement is starting to flow and my memory of the controls is getting a lot better.

If you have the cash and the "PATIENCE" and I repeat "PATIENCE" to try something new I would say the SS/Move or The Deployment Bundle is the way to go. I don't think I can play another shooter and get the enjoyment that this new toy brings. Gives me a macho/rambo type feel

Does it feel off having the character you are controlling on screen even when using the SS? Guess I'm asking does it take away from the 'it's me' experience?

It sure did in the beginning. It didn't help either that the default settings did not fit my style. Until you get your settings down and spend a little time gettting a feel for it, what you mentioned Skyboxer is pretty much how it felt for.

Yeah that's the only thing really stopping me. It would really be cool to have the option to not have your character on screen when using the SS.
I can't find one locally right now anyways except for Walmart and 1:I hate Walmart and 2: They are charging 45.00 for it.

Before I got mine from Gamestop I checked Craigslist and there were a few listed. Ended up getting a Gamestop used. You can have Gamestop do a search for you.

Closest GS with it is about 75 miles. For that I'd just pay WM 45.00. I'll be seeing if they price match first....

Getting the aim/reticle centered is issue that I am having. I'm also wondering if being left-handed is causing me some issues??? My guy will be centered on my tv but the aim will be to the right about 3-5 inches. My guy seems right-handed but I'm shooting with my left if that makes any sense. I though in SC Confrontation you could change sides???
For me, it depends on the game. For Killzone 3 and the Socom 4 beta, I had better results (as far as accuracy) having the camera on top of my TV. For TW12, I was better with the camera below the TV. You just have to play around with it and see what works best for you. But remember, calibrate the move whenever you change the camera position (or your own playing positioning). Every little bit of change can affect how your playing experience changes.

So Flight what are you thinking about the game with the SS? I'm still debating on wether to pick it up with or w/out the SS.

That vid was ok, but I still can't decide.

Man DJ32, if you are willing to take the time to get the SS/Move down its a slick little piece of equipment. I'm at the point were I am feeling somewhat comfortable now. Online vs humans may be a different story, but last night it really started to click. I was mowing the enemy down with the SS Long range I wast beastin!!! Is that an english word?

If the cash is not an issue I say get it in a heartbeat.

Was about to mention that someone just posted that there is a new update for the game on the socom forums, until I realized his name was FlightWhite.

Hope its the servers going live, so we can get some MP impressions.
