Re: SOCOM 4
man wow
It takes some time to get used to the move
Its almost too perfect in how it follows the gun around... talk about accurate
It may all depend on where your camera is, and if you screw up the calibration as well.
The move was very simple to set up, sync'd the controllers in about 20 seconds if that... after that I had to figure out what buttons did what on this thing because its like re-learning all over again
After putting a game on casual and dying a few times trying to adjust to the controls.. I finally passed a mission killing an enemy commander in the village
Also tried holding the SS in multiple positions to see which is the most comfortable standing and sitting but it doesnt matter... you cannot be a lazy slob and use this thing
... so all in all Ill probably use this thing to play the entire game one because its pretty fun and two you have some pretty cool teamates that wont leave you hanging in the middle of the battle
Its going to take some major time in to adjust fully and master using this thing, but I like it alot.....WiNComment

Re: SOCOM 4
Just completed the game on Hard. Now to go back and do it all over again on Elite, and find all the hidden intel and oranges. Would I be doing this stuff if PSN wasn't down? Probably not lol. Still pretty fun though.
23, did you go through the different settings for the SS in the options? There's an option called "modal", where if you hold L2 it's pretty much like using a mouse.
Also, not sure if you've already done so, but calibrating from the PS3 Accessories settings before jumping into the game supposedly makes the move more accurate as well.Comment

Re: SOCOM 4
I did do the PS3 calibration first, thats why I said its almost too accurate
I think I did change my controls to modal as well, but I kept forgetting to use L2
Took a minute to realize what I was doing with the controls
Trying to cut across the yard, the man is moving the way I tell him too, and at the same time im holding the gun slightly to the opposite direction so he's moving in a direciton he's not looking
Thats one thing I have to fixComment

Finished SP this morning. Had a lot of fun with it. Really loved the stealth missions especially the last one.Joshua:
