Hey TCrouch, is this a type of game that anyone can play? I am really thinking about picking this one up but all I play are action games and sports games. I have never played an RPG all the way through because they just don't keep my interest. This one i think would because i love the starwars movies and would want to become a jedi and beat the game with each side. Anyways, my main question is, Would you recommend this game for a sports gamer?!

Re: KOTOR beaten!
Jabisco, it took a lot of effort, actually. Every time I'd get to the dark side, I'd have my own conscience take over and I'd be back to neutral. It wasn't until later in the game that I had a major plot twist, and had no problem doing anything evil whatsoever as I progressed through the game. My avatar shows where I ended. Three-quarters of this game is like a personality test more than anything else.
And dookie: it's tough to say. To enjoy KOTOR for more than 20 minutes, you have to be content to do a lot of talking to people and solving little mysteries. Person A sends you to Person B, and Person B sends you to location Z to grab Item A, take it back to Person B, who sends you to location Y, then back to Person A. It's a LOT of running around doing little crap. However, you can play the game almost any way you like. Want to run their missions? Feel free. Want to ignore them, and only follow the main plotlines (which are still a lot of mission running anyway)? Feel free. Want to tell them to piss off, then kill them? Feel free (seriously).
If you enjoy a story (and this game has THE best story in gaming...better than most movies), and are the inquisitive type, it would be right up your alley...although combat is of the "click target, hit attack, watch it pan out or hit special moves to hasten it" variety. It doesn't pause and have you reissue orders every turn like Final Fantasy (well, you can set it up that way, but I didn't), but it's definitely not a run-n-gun action title.
Personally, I'd say rent it at a minimum. The damn thing sold 250,000 copies in 4 days, and it's the best game I've ever played...period.Comment

Re: KOTOR beaten!
star wars kid isn't in the game, you could create him but I don't think they have a character image like him at all.
I agree, buy this game if you like RPG's at all. It's pretty easy to get into, and you don't have to be involved in the leveling up (you can just do auto level up) if you don't want to. That can leave you to just the story, and whatnot. Great game!Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Even in the first level or two, it's a completely different experience...stealthing past people, unlocking things I couldn't before.

I started off as a scoundrel and that stealth mode saved me from having die a few times. I know when I start the next round I'll have to buy/find a stealth belt and give my character stealth points.Comment
