Releases this week. Just listened to a podcast on it, I'm actually pretty excited about it. The Game Room app is free, then games cost $3 each or $5 for cross platform play (PC). You can also play games one time for 50 cents like old arcades.

You can pause games while playing, log off and log back on and continue where you were. Your friends can visit and beat your scores on your arcade games, placing a banner above the arcade cabinet in your room stating they hold your games record.

I love old retro game, this is a pretty cool feature. In a way it's like Sony's Home, except this is just old school arcade games. Which is all I would play anyway.

Anyone else picking it up so we can travel to other gamer's arcades to play?

The actual app is free. The roms are $3 a piece or 50 cents for a one time play.

LOL, that they were. I remember the first 50 cent games, I think MK was 50 cents. I was crushed.. "you mean I can only play it twice for a buck!?" LOL

So did Candyman, God knows why.

I got 4 games (one by complete accident that I ended up liking the most. LOL, the Kung Fu game). There's a lot of potential. Love the rewind and replay feature. Love the challenges. Love the audio, it's incredible to wander around and hear old school arcade sounds.

Just needs better games, found the other 26 games I didn't buy pretty much awful. The Intellivision games are even worse than that. I played Football for 20 mins (demo and paid 5 tokens to play it again), and couldn't even snap the ball...once!! AWFUL

But potential and the fun/nostalgia with it, very positive.

I agree with you. I played a few games on there last night and I think they need some better games if this arcade is to take off. Bring on some Zaxxon. LOL!

I agree, the Intellivision games are plain awful. I couldn't snap the ball either in Football..lol The Atari games are pretty bad as well. I remember when I was a kid playing Outlaw, it was fun, but not so much now.

I think they got a good thing here. Just need to add some more, better games.

Why can't we get Pitfall? It was never even released for XBLA. I would've thought it would definitely be in here. To me, that was one of the greatest Atari games ever, and Kangaroo.

Activison games are coming, and Pitfall is on the list, it was mentioned several times by the devs.

Seven new games are being released weekly.

Looks like Star Wars Arcade by Atari could be coming soon.. Also a Pac-Man icon for an achievement there. Namco wasn't even announced yet.

Oh wow, I didn't even notice Namco had no games on their.

It would have been nice for us to import our previously owned arcade games. I have Time Pilot, Gyruss, Zevious, and a few others.

I only purchased two games. Finalizer, and Tennis. Thinking of Space Armada (Space Invaders knock off) and Adventure. That Kung Fu game looks pretty good.

I really think they are missing the mark with these arcade titles. Im 32 years old and can barely remember some of these titles, much less have some desire to play them.

There are a ton of Arcade titles that we all grew up with that would be much better to have. Ninja Turtles, Xmen, Sunset Riders, Simpsons, Killer Instinct, Ghost and Goblins, NARC, etc etc etc.

For that matter, I would shell out a lot of cash for some Pinball Roms. Zen is about the only pinball game out there worth getting because the others are filled with terrible tables to take up space.

Judge Dredd, Simpsons, Jokerz, Terminator 2, Batman, Addams Family etc would be some amazing pinball tables to have on the arcade.
