Re: KOTOR Power up strategy and other questions...

    *** Spoiler ***

Found a way to get past the Rancor on Taris without throwing a single grenade. Before you enter the Rancor layer you will find a severed arm. Make sure to take the odor device. Enter the rancor layer and go to the pile of bones. Instead of taking the frag grenades, place the odor device in the pile of bones. The rancor will smell the odor and procede to eat...and the rest is history.

yeah, that's a pretty cool way to do it, I've done it that way all along...Didn't play last night (went golfing instead), but by Sunday I'll need my fix. This 2nd time through will take me a bit longer, don't have quite the drive to see all the plot twists I had the first time through, but I do want to see how evil goes. I'll be able to do this more leisurely, without having to make it my sole entertainment

I wish I would have known about it my first time through. I was sittin' there throwing grenades and setting up mines.

I agree about playing on a leisure pace. I'm actually getting to play NCAA. Since I usually only get a hour to a hour and a half of game time a night, I play NCAA first and if there is time I pop in KOTOR.

yeah, I played some dynasty in NCAA last night, I've gotta get better at that game, but once the College Football season starts I'll be so hyped to play the game

I found a glitch fighting the rancor. I did'nt know what to do with the order stuff, so I ran from him. He killed both of my guys and I ran towards the door. When I was at the door, he could'nt come any futher. So I was safe, so I grenaded his *** till he died.
